Umar Hafeez Has Spent Three Years Fixing the GoHighLevel Setups Agencies Can’t Finish

Every marketing agency that purchases a GoHighLevel subscription believes, at the time of purchase, that the setup is manageable. Six weeks later, the pipelines are half-configured, the automation sequences are untested, and at least one person on the team has quietly started routing leads through a spreadsheet instead. This is a common enough situation that it has become a market in itself, and it is the market Umar Hafeez has been working in for the past three years.

Hafeez runs a GoHighLevel specialist operation based in Lahore, Pakistan, serving agencies and consultants across international markets. His team handles GHL builds, website development on platforms including Showit and Squarespace, automation sequences, logo and branding work, and ongoing support. According to his portfolio, the operation has completed more than 25 client projects across five platforms, with every deliverable reviewed by Hafeez before it reaches the client.

GoHighLevel is an all-in-one platform used by marketing agencies to manage client relationships, automate communication sequences, run websites and funnels, and track sales pipelines from a single dashboard. The product is powerful and highly configurable, and those two qualities together are precisely what make it difficult to set up without experience. The default configuration is built around a generic agency model, not around how any particular business actually operates. Specialists like Hafeez take the gap between those two things as their starting point.

Getting to that starting point was not a direct path.

Roughly four years ago, Hafeez left employment with no financial cushion and no clients lined up. By his own account on his website, whatever savings he had were gone within a year and a half. He took short-term work during that period to keep going, was let go, and decided he was not returning to employment. Another year of limited financial stability followed before he found his first client. That client is still with him.

The client is Donnacode, the coaching agency led by Stephanie Wellstead. Hafeez’s portfolio describes the arrangement as a technical co-partnership running for more than a year. His team built Donnacode’s GHL infrastructure from scratch: sub-account structure, SaaS plans, automation sequences for onboarding and client follow-up, brand identity, and a library of support videos for Donnacode’s own coaching clients. According to the portfolio, the work has also extended to building complete business systems for more than 25 of those coaching clients, each requiring its own website, GHL integration, and ongoing automation configuration.

The coaching clients listed are working across business, NLP, wellness, and voice performance. Despite the variety, the underlying setup requirements are largely consistent. Each needs a website feeding directly into a CRM, automation sequences that run without manual triggering, and access to support from someone who already knows the specific build. Hafeez’s team handles all of that on an ongoing basis.

One service that sits between the build work and the support work is the GHL video series. When an agency delivers a GoHighLevel setup to a client who has never used the platform, support calls tend to start within a day. Hafeez records screen walkthroughs tailored to each client’s particular account and workflow, covering the specific tasks that client will use most. The agency delivers these alongside the build itself. Up to 10 videos per client, organized into a private library, with one round of revisions if the setup later changes.

A separate strand of the business is aimed at people who want to understand their own systems rather than hand them off. Hafeez runs one-on-one coaching sessions conducted live on screen share, working directly through the client’s actual account on GoHighLevel, Showit, Systeme.io, or funnel strategy depending on what they need. Templates for those platforms are also available through Etsy, pre-structured starting points that come with documentation so buyers can adapt them without pulling everything apart first.

The services page is direct about one thing: the client roster is deliberately limited. The business is not built to grow by adding volume. Fewer clients, more attention, every project reviewed before handover. That is the operating model.
